Dawn Trautman played Mrs. Tottendale in the first New York City revival of The Drowsy Chaperone at The Gallery Players, a completely sold out production which won four 2011 New York Innovative Theater Awards including Best Ensemble and Best Musical Production. She most recently played Mrs. Anna Smith in Meet Me in St. Louis at Show Palace Dinner Theater in Florida.

Dawn had the honor of premiering a number of songs by Paul Johnson and Hector Coris as an original cast member of their cabaret, What's Your Problem, which included the MAC Award nominated song, "In Heaven They Sing Nothing but Showtunes." She consistently creates comic interpretations and masters right harmonies in various cabarets, fundraisers and musicals, most recently in the Rodgers and Hammerstein revue, A Grand Night for Singing.
Dawn has choreographed sixteen full-length musicals including the 50th Anniversary production of Whoop Up! at Opening Doors Theater Company, which was the first revival in New York City. Other choreography credits include Hello Dolly, Sweet Charity, The Music Man, Annie and West Side Story.
When not on stage, Dawn seeks out unique experiences as diverse as being a Macy's Giant Balloon Handler, exploring the vineyards in the South of France, climbing a glacier in New Zealand, attending runway shows at Fashion Week, and helping low income third graders learn to read. She also maintains a thriving business as a national board certified life coach and is writing her first book.
